Sabrina Clement Story: Stabbed By Brother Keith Randulich While Parents Were Away

Sabrina Clement’s killer brother Keith Randulich is currently in jail. Initially, the prosecutors seek a life sentence for the killer, relating to the brutal nature of the murder. They later demanded to extend his term to 60 to 100 years to keep him in jail until his death.

Finally, Randulich was sentenced to 40 years in prison on April 14, 2011. He was 19 when pleaded guilty and will be only 58 when he is released from prison.

The Chicago Tribune has reprinted excerpts from an interview with Keith Randulich.

“I just said I loved her and I took out the knife and she smiled at me,” Randulich told the detectives. “I made just a little cut in her neck and she screamed and said, ‘Stop!'”

“She was screaming and fighting,” Randulich said. “(She asked), ‘Why are you killing me?'”

“I kissed her and said, ‘I’m sorry I had to do that,'” Randulich said. “I really loved my sister.”

What happened between Keith Randulich and Sabrina Clement?

Sabrina Clement’s killing happened on May 22nd, 2009, at her home. Her murderer, Randulich, her half-brother, was 17 years when the incident occurred. On that day, the kids were left alone at home while the parents were away.

Sabrina had very few stab wounds around her neck. When asked by the Police officials, Keith confessed and confirmed that he murdered his sister with a steak knife. He took her to the basement of their Mokena, Ill. house and cut her throat.

Randulich did not feel sorry for cutting his sister’s half-throat while she screamed. Instead, he said that he was saving her. He believed that the young Sabrina was being $exually assaulted by a family member.

Therefore, he took her life to save her from further abuse. However, investigators found no evidence of sexual abuse in Clement’s autopsy. There were several dreadful things discovered in the basement by the detectives.

Some of them were horror films, death metal music, and clown masks made of rubber.

Where is Keith Randulich today?

In 2011, he was sentenced to 40 years in jail for killing his younger sister. He pleaded guilty to the murder charges and was sentenced. But is Keith Randulich still alive?

There have been several claims that the Mokena native is dead. However, these claims lack basis as there is no Keith Randulich obituary to confirm. Nonetheless, he is still alive and presently serving his sentence.
